The Dolphin PCIe adapter cards PXH820, PXH822, PXH830, PXH832, MXH830 and MXH832 and the 24 port MXS824 PCIe switch use standard quad SFF-8644 cable connectors and supports PCIe 3.0 cables. The PCIe 3.0 cables supports the PCI-SIG defined Cable Management Interface (CMI) used for sideband signaling.

Dolphin PCIe 3.0 x4 SFF-8644 Fiber Cables
The PXH820, PXH822, PXH830, PXH832, MXH830, MXH832 and MXS824 products fully supports the following PCIe 3.0 SFF-8644 based fiber optic AOC cables. Used with the PXH822, PXH832 or MXH832 cards, some functionality will be limited as these cables does not support the Cable Management Interface (CMI) functionality. Please consult the PXH822, PXH832 or MXH832 users guide for more details.

Dolphin PCIe 3.0 SFF-8644 Fiber Pigtails
If you need to route the fiber cable through bulkheads or want flexibility on the length, two MSP3M-1M Optical Pigtails can be combined with one of the available MTFCFF x4 Optical Patch cables to create a reliable PCIe 3.0 x4 link. Please note you need two MTPC Fiber Couplers to create one x4 link. Please also note you need to clean the MPO fiber head each time the cable is connected. Dolphin recommends the MPCLEAN MPO cleaning kit available from Dolphin.
